At the end of June 2024 the North Yorkshire county held their annual festival of Judo.
Once again a candidate was assessed for his referee badge at the event, namely Peter Kelly.

Danny Kissenisky, head coach of the East Yorkshire Judo Academy (EYJA) has been awarded his 6 th Dan by the British Judo Association.
Danny’s participation in Judo started over forty years ago. He won national and international medals at both junior and senior levels including a silver at the 1992 Commonwealth Championships.
Spencer Lambert is an international level competitor from the area who is now offering both personal training and 1-to-1 Judo training sessions.
