Some of these are put on by the area, some will be run by clubs or sub-areas within the Yorkshire & Humberside.

Late entries put events at risk.
We do not accept entries on the day at Y&H hosted competitions (unless specifically mentioned on calendar / entry details).
Where an area event supports online entry through this website, names will be published once your entry is completed. If your name is not in the published list, then you are not entered and will be turned away on the day.
Your entry is ONLY complete once payment is made. Marking yourself as going on Facebook is NOT entering an event.

Younger players
White - Yellow Belt (nov-6th mon)
Group 1: Male age 8-11
Group 2: Male age 12-15
Group 3: Females (will be split by age into pools on the day) Orange Belt (7th – 9th mon)
Group 4: Male age 8-11
Group 5: Male age 12-15
Group 6: Females (will be split by age into pools on the day)
Kyu Grades (14+ years old)
Group 7: Male and Female nov - yellow belt (nov-5th kyu)
Group 8: Male and Female orange – blue belt (4th – 2nd kyu)
SUKT - Sheffield Uni Kyu Tournament
Kyu grade event run by Sheffield University Judo club.
This event has grown in the decade or so of running, in 2023 it was full and organisors had to turn people away!
Whil eit is hosted by the university club, this is an open competition, any kyu grades with appropriate BJA membership are welcome.
Split into 3 categories:
- low kyu grades
- middle kyus
- 1st kyus (point scoring)

North Yorkshire Judo festival 2025
Popular event hosted by the North Yorkshire county.
Festival format - so forming pools of players based on entry rather than traditional weight categories.
