On the 5th March 2023 we held a dan grading at Goole.
Thank you to all who came along to compete, hopefully everyone took something away. Even if that wasn't the points you were hoping for.
We saw 14 1st kyu men and 2 dan grade men fight it out for points.
5 players made it to line ups, with 2 completing their lines successfully. Big congratulations to them. Once they get their competitive skills assessment (aka theory) done they'll be able to apply for their first dan.
2 other players completed their 100 point target for their 1st dan, but only one has his theory done so far.
Thank you to all the players turning up to take part, their supporters for cheering them on and of course the referees and examiners giving up another weekend to support the sport we love.
