14th and 15th of June saw players from around country converge on York for our Senior & Veterans events. From Scotland, Cornwall and even Portugal & Gibraltar !

A competition on Saturday followed by a competitive dan grading on the Sunday, a whole lot of points won by players towards their respective grades. Alongside the points winners were the lower grades competing, for many of whom it was their first competition. 

The competition started in 2022, so this was the 3rd running of the competition and it continues to grow with a number of players commenting they would be back and looking out for the same event next year.

This is something of an experimental format, running both a competition and grading on the weekend.

Great for the players, but needs support of the volunteers (officials & organisors) to give up a full weekend to make it happen. All done for the love our our sport, thankyou all.
