Consultation Process - Sports Clubs and Providers

North Yorkshire Sport have been commissioned by the Public Health team at City of York Council to lead the development of a 'Physical Activity and Sport' strategy for the city.

The strategy will look at how more people can be encouraged to be physically active as well as exploring how sport and physical activity can help support other agendas within the city (e.g. reducing loneliness and isolation, improving the management of conditions etc).

Sports Clubs and Providers consultation event - Wednesday 23rd October 2019 6.30pm

The next part of the consultation process is to speak to sports clubs and providers who are delivering sport and physical activity. As a group of providers there is a significant amount of work (paid and unpaid) that happens on a weekly basis to provide activity to keep thousands of people active in the city, and we want to make sure that you feel supported and valued as part of this process.
