Late entries put events at risk.
We do not accept entries on the day at Y&H hosted competitions (unless specifically mentioned on calendar / entry details).
Where an area event supports online entry through this website, names will be published once your entry is completed. If your name is not in the published list, then you are not entered and will be turned away on the day.
Your entry is ONLY complete once payment is made. Marking yourself as going on Facebook is NOT entering an event.
DNA Judo open championships
Full event schedule
Event 1 - Players under 12 - Novice to 6th Mon
(must be at least 8 years old on the day of the event)
Players will be put into pools of 3, 4, 5 or 6 based upon their age, grade & weight with the aim to create meaningful contests and as many as possible.
Event 2 - Players under 12 - 7th Mon to 15th Mon
(must be at least 8 years old on the day of the event)
Players will be put into pools of 3, 4, 5 or 6 based upon their age, grade & weight with the aim to create meaningful contests and as many as possible.
Event 3 - Players under 16 - Novice to 9th Mon
Players will be put into pools of 3, 4, 5 or 6 based upon their age, grade & weight with the aimto create meaningful contests and as many as possible.
Event 4 - Players under 16 - 10th Mon to 15th Mon
Players will be put into pools of 3, 4, 5 or 6 based upon their age, grade & weight with the aim to create meaningful contests and as many as possible.
Event 5 - Seniors (Players aged 14 & above) Novice to 2nd Kyu
Players will be put into pools of 3, 4, 5 or 6 based upon their age, grade & weight with the aim to create meaningful contests and as many as possible.
Event 6 - Veterans (Players aged 35 & above) Novice to 2nd Kyu
Players will be put into pools of 3, 4, 5 or 6 based upon their age, grade & weight with the aim to create meaningful contests and as many as possible.
Sheffield Uni Kyu Tournament (SUKT)
Senior kyu grade event for new JudoKa and those chasing points for their 1st dan.
- novice - yellow belt
- Orange to blue belt
- brown belts have their own point scoring category

Categories
A: Seniors novice - 5th kyu
B: Seniors 4th - 2nd kyu
C: Seniors 1st kyu+ (point scoring)
C: Veterans 30-44 years, novice - 2nd kyu
D: Veterans 30-44 years, 1st kyu+ (point scoring)
E: Veterans 45+ years, novice - 2nd kyu
F: Veterans 45+ years, 1st kyu+ (point scoring)
Age group defined using same rule as national veterans - turning 45 in 2026 then you can enter the 45+ group.

Please note parking at the venue is limited.
We'd recommend using the York park and ride to get into town or train.
Venue is a short walk from train station.
