9th February 2014 saw three Olympians, Rowena Birch, Chloe Cowen and 2012 medallist Karina Bryant visit Goole to run a very well attended Judo masterclass. The Yorkshire and Humberside Judo committee were pleased to present a donation to Rowena Birch for the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust in memory of Ryan Birch.
In addition to approximately 40 coaches and 50 children, also in attendance were the Mayor and Mayoress of Goole.
